Small Craft Shops in every town,
New and Exciting Products on the shelf,
Stimulating Projects in books, project sheets and consumer magazines,
Crowded Craft Shows with rows and rows of booths and fun.

Today's market does not reflect a successful market. In fact, it is in need of YOUR HELP to rebuild it.

We have lost the Small Craft Shop and are seeing Manufacturers, Distributors and Trade and Consumer Publications cutting back on new product, technique and design support or worse, closing their doors. Our local Craft Shows and Craft Classes are almost extinct.

They are all the very heartbeat of our market and if we lose them we lose the market!

We are asking all to participate in a Simple Solution to help

Strengthen the Craft Market once again.

SUPPORT YOUR SMALL LOCAL AND ONLINE CRAFT BUSINESS OWNERS and ORGANIZATIONS: Shop their local businesses and or websites for your home decor and or gift items before you buy an import. Join national or local craft organizations whose mission is to strengthen their field of crafting. Maybe you can start your own craft club with monthly meetings.

SUPPORT THE PROFESSIONAL DESIGNERS: Shop professional designers who offer new and exciting projects in either, book, CD or E-Books. Start a NEW project today!

SUPPORT CRAFT CLASSES: Begin to teach others your talents by teaching in your home, your community center, church, online or take a craft class yourself.

TEACH THE CHILDREN: Share your talents with your children. "Crafting is a Family Tradition, Pass It On" as someone special in your past may have done.

SUPPORT CONSUMER PUBLICATIONS: Subscribe to or pick up an issue of a craft consumer magazine. Start a local craft gazette in your area distributing it at local shops and events.

SUPPORT MANUFACTURERS through purchasing product and creating.

Research the number of online users who still have the desire to craft, but cannot due to the lack of retailers, product and design availability. I think you will find that the Internet houses more than enough consumers to support your companies.

Reinvest into the professional designers and teachers who for decades provided motivation and education of product use through well written projects.

Look back and see what worked before greed hit this market. Incorporate the effective measures of those times with today's tools, research the numbers on the Internet and work with us to reach the goal of a functional craft cottage industry both on and offline once again.
