To my great surprise I found out my Mojave coiled accessories are in the newest Belle Armoire!  I sent these in quite awhile ago and had forgotten about them!

So….if you have sent something into Somerset do not give up hope!

My love of recycling and repurposing fabrics with the Earth Safe Finish line is growing everyday as I find more and more ways to use them.  Having inherited a great deal of rather dated and not my style fabrics this is a really blessing.  From ugly to beautiful in a few steps.

On Paddle Wheel I used a stencil from www.crafterswarehouse.com along with Colorants and Shimmers from www.earthsafefinishes.com to create the base fabric.  Some machine embroidery in copper and free motion quilting to suggest the flow of water through the paddles.  I added tiny copper beads randomly as if to suggest bubbles in the water and a cold forged copper hanger to display it.

I am now working on an entirely different style and colorway.  On my current work I transformed a single piece of fabric 4 ways, pieced it and am in the process of quilting and embellishing now.
